When you upload a broker CSV, it is read and processed locally by code running in your web browser. The file contents are held in your browser's memory only for as long as you have the page open and are discarded when you close or refresh it. Nothing in your file is transmitted to us or to any third party.

The PDF report you download is also generated in your browser, on your device.

We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or any personal details to use the calculator. The optional name you can enter is used solely to label your downloaded PDF and is never sent anywhere.

The calculator itself does not set tracking cookies. If basic, privacy respecting analytics are enabled in future to understand aggregate, anonymous usage (such as page views), this policy will be updated to say so. No analytics tool is given access to your transaction data, because that data never leaves your browser.

The site is served as static files by our hosting provider. As with any website, the provider may process standard technical request information (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the page and protect against abuse. This is incidental to serving the site and is not linked to your tax calculation.

Because we don't collect or hold your personal or financial data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control of your files at all times.
